Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports at the age of fourteen years old. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing wrestling and BJJ before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell by the start of the round. She went back to WCFC for the purpose of defeating Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting a black mark on Ladd's record for amateur. Ladd took her fight in a fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to a record of 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to make her debut as a pro. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the next match in the fight against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen used her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen next faced Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) as an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make the weight. Aspen, however, dominated Hoy with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion with a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the second. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the initial round, and was awarded the performance of the night bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters received the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd in just 16 seconds, putting an end to her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, lost to Randamie. In her recent fight for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight was unanimously decided in her favor.
