Shailene Woodley is an American actress and activist. Her popularity was boosted by her character Alexandra "Alex" King, an teen suffering from drug addiction, in The Descendants. Following her awe-inspiring performance on The Descendants, she came to the stage with a variety of other roles which showed her capability to play difficult roles with ease. Shailene has earned a prestigious role in the field even at an early age and is a remarkable achievement. She began her career by appearing in TV commercials and shows, but she soon moved to Hollywood films. She won a number of awards for her exceptional acting abilities, among them the MTV Movie Awards.
